Adam Consultants & Fire Engineers is a private company and is fully qualified to carry out fire safety audits & fire risk assessments. Accreditation is being applied for from the Institute of Fire Engineers as an approved assessor.
The company is engaged in the design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with current British Standards.
Fire alarm systems are supplied as an outright sale. Equipment is chosen for its ease of use and to minimise the possibility of false alarms due to user error. To further this end, clear and comprehensive customer instruction is also seen as essential, particularly for monitored systems.
In addition the company carries out contract maintenance of portable fire extinguishers and the inspection, testing, refurbishment & refilling of portable fire extinguishers.
Application is currently before the National Security Inspectorate for accreditation in meeting the Gold Standard criteria for the installation & maintenance of fire alarms & portable fire extinguishers with Quality Control Management ISO 9001.
